Maria is a Researcher focussed on the intersection of Data Science, Finance and Economics.

She holds a Ph.D. in Information Management, where she used high-frequency telematics data to extract information about driving behavior.

She worked in various roles, from developing Machine Learning models for fraud detection, applying blockchain analytics, to detect malicious wallets in Bitcoin and Ethereum, and to analyzing and designing incentives for various web3 protocols (Zksync, Redstone, Filecoin, IPFS, Saturn, Qredo, drand, etc.)
